How to create a discount map in the NetSuite Legacy Tax Adapter for GTD

This article is for NetSuite Legacy Tax users only. If you use NetSuite SuiteTax, read this article for help with creating discounts.

For each discount item you create in NetSuite, you must also create a discount map.

To create a discount map, follow these steps:

1. Go to Sovos Legacy > Legacy Tax > Discount Map > New.
   
   
   
   
2. Select the Discount Item from the dropdown menu, then select the Discount Type. The Name field will be filled in automatically based on your choices.
   
   
   
   
3. Click Save.
