If the sales order will be shipped to or from multiple locations, you must specify the addresses at the line level so that the sales tax can be accurately calculated for each line.
To turn on item line shipping, follow these steps:
- Go to the Items tab on the sales order and select Enable Item Line Shipping.
- If the sales order will be shipped to multiple addresses, select the Ship To location for each item.
- If the sales order will be shipped from multiple warehouses, select the Location for each item.
- Click Save.
