The unassigned data report lists all of the transactions that haven't been assigned to a return. You can download this report from the Pending Transactions page.
To download the unassigned data report, follow these steps:
- In Sovos Filing, go to the Pending Transactions page.
- Click Download transactions.
- A message will appear saying that your report is downloading and will be available on the Downloads panel. To open the Downloads panel, click View Downloads in the message or click the Downloads button.
- Click the Download File icon for the report you want to download. You may need to scroll with the horizontal scroll bar to see the icon.
- A message saying Download in progress will appear and the report will download in your browser window.
You can also download the report from the Returns page. If any transactions could not be assigned to a return, an Issues found warning will appear.
Clicking Issues found brings up a message letting you know that you have unassigned transactions. Click Download report to download the unassigned data report.
