How to add a location to a line item in the tax calculator (New GTD Cloud)

If one of your line items has a different location from the rest of your line items, you can add a location to that line item.

For example, if most of the items are being shipped to Washington but one item is being shipped to California, you can set the Ship To location for the document to Washington and add California as the Ship To location for the specific line item.

The location you set at the document level applies to all line items by default. Adding a location to a line item will overwrite the document-level location.

To add a location to a line item, follow these steps:

  1. On the Tax Calculator page, find the line item you want to add a location to.



  2. Click the Add Data Points icon.



  3. Select Locations from the dropdown menu.



  4. Enter the location information.
