You can integrate Snowflake with many third-party Business Intelligence (BI) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools, allowing you to transfer your data directly from the database without running reports.
The integration steps vary depending on the specific software your company is using, but most integrations require the following information:
- Server name: This is specific to your organization, but the format will be <account_name>.<region_id>.snowflakecomputing.com. Follow the steps in the Find the server name section to find the name of your organization’s server.
- Database name: SOVOS_READONLY_DB
- Warehouse: SOVOS_WH
Read your BI's or ERP's documentation on how to start the integration. You can also check the list of compatible third-party tools in the Snowflake User Guide.
Find the server name
- In Snowflake, click your user information on the side menu.
- Hover over your account to bring up the account details.
- Click the Copy account URL icon. Paste and save the server name for your reference.
