A team member in your organization with admin permissions can reset any user’s password. There are two ways to do it:
- Resetting the password manually
- Sending a password reset email to the person who needs a new password
Resetting the password manually

Log in to the Sovos Gateway and click Admin Settings.

Click the Users tab in the side menu, then click on the user who needs a new password.

In the Password Settings section of the User Info tab, enter the new password.

Click Save.
Sending a password reset email

Log in to the Sovos Gateway and click Admin Settings.
- Click the Users tab in the side menu, then click on the user who needs a new password.

Click the Reset button next to Reset Password and Security Questions.
- On the pop-up window, click Reset.
- Follow the instructions in the password reset email.
The team member’s account whose password and security questions are being reset will not be active until they reset their password and security questions.
