What is Sovos Filing?

Sovos Filing is a cloud service designed to prepare and files sales and use tax on your behalf. Sovos Filing takes on the challenging parts of tax filing and empowers you to handle returns with ease, full transparency, and control.

 

How does Sovos Filing work?

There are 4 steps in the filing process:

  1. You upload your tax data.
  2. The Managed Services team prepares your return.
  3. You review the return.
  4. Sovos files the return for you.

 

 

Uploading your tax data

Sovos has built-in templates that match the most common file types so you won't need to edit your files before uploading.

Reconciliation

Every filing period, you'll receive 4 reports that show your data in different formats. These reports allow you to reconcile against your general ledger so that you can feel confident that we received your full set of data.

Tracking your returns

After you log in to Sovos Filing, you'll land on the My Returns page, where you can see all of your returns for the filing period.
