SAP naming conventions for Sovos packages

The files in the folders containing Sovos packages are named according to the following convention:

SOVOS-AAABBBBBBBSOVOSDCCC-FULL-Y.Y.MM 

Naming Convention

Explanation 
SOVOS  The Sovos package
AAA The SAP system where the transport request was generated
BBBBBBB The transport request in SAP. 
SOVOSD The namespace of the objects, which begins with SOVOSD 
CCC

The specific package of the objects

  • MAIN: Common objects for ECC and S/4HANA
  • ECC: Specific objects for SAP ECC
FULL Full release of the solution
Y.Y.MM The year and month when the SAP package was released (e.g. 2.0.07 means that it was released in the year 2020 in the month of July.)
