How to map exemptions to Entity/Use codes in GTD (New GTD Cloud)

  1. Log in to Global Tax Determination from the S1 platform and go to Account Setup > Entity/Use Codes.
  2. If this is your first time mapping Entity/Use codes, click Map Entity/Use Codes. If your organization already has Entity/Use code mappings, click Add New
  3. There are two ways to find the Entity/Use code you want to map:
    • To search for the code, click the Search icon and enter a keyword in the Search field, then click the Search icon again or press Enter on your keyboard.
    • To find the code manually, click the arrows to expand the sections until you reach the code.
  4. Select the Entity/Use code you want to map, then click Next.

  5. Enter your ERP’s exemption code in the empty field, then click Add. You can map more codes by repeating the process.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Your mapping will appear on the Entity/Use Codes page.
