How to install the Sovos Tax Integration Package for the NetSuite SuiteTax Adapter for GTD

This article is for NetSuite SuiteTax users only. If you use NetSuite Legacy Tax, read this article instead.

Prerequisites

  • You must have the Administrator role.
  • NetSuite SuiteTax must be activated. To check if it’s activated, follow these steps:
    1. Go to Setup > Company > Enable Features.
    2. Click the Tax tab.
    3. Confirm that the SuiteTax option is selected.

  • If you have the United States CA nexus configured in your NetSuite SuiteTax environment, you must deactivate it, as this nexus is no longer valid.

Installing the bundle

  1. Go to Setup > Integration > SOAP Web Services Preferences and copy your Account ID.

  1. Ask your Professional Services representative to make the Sovos Tax Integration Package available. Provide your account ID with the request.
  2. Once the bundle is available, go to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles > List.
  3. On the Installed Bundles screen, click New.

  1. You’ll be taken to the Search & Install Bundles screen. Enter Sovos Tax Integration Package in the Keywords field, then click Search.
  2. Click Sovos Tax Integration Package.

  1. To view a list of files and other components that the bundle will be installing into your NetSuite environment, select the Components tab.
  2. Click Install.

  1. On the Preview Bundle Install screen, click Install Bundle.

  1. To check the status of the installation, go back to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles > List.
  2. On the Installed Bundles screen, you’ll see a Pending status if the installation is still in progress.

  1. Once the installation is complete, you’ll see a green checkmark in the Status column.
