How to assign the Sovos Tax Engine role to a subsidiary in the NetSuite SuiteTax Adapter for GTD

Subsidiaries must have the Sovos Tax Engine role in NetSuite in order to use Sovos’ tax engine. To assign this role to a subsidiary, follow these steps:

1. Go to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles.
2. On the Manage Roles screen, click Edit in the Sovos Tax Engine row.
   
   
   
   
3. On the Role screen, in the Subsidiaries dropdown, select every subsidiary that will use Sovos’ tax engine.
   
   
   
   
4. Click Save.
