How to grant access to the Accounting Close Suitelet in the NetSuite SuiteTax Adapter for GTD

You must have the Administrator role in NetSuite to follow the steps in this article.

The Sovos Tax Integration Package includes the Accounting Close Suitelet, which can be used to permanently commit transactions to Global Tax Determination (GTD). You must have the Sovos role in order to use the Suitelet.

To assign the Sovos role to a user, follow these steps:

1. Go to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Users.
2. On the Manage Users screen, click on the user you want to assign the Sovos role to.
3. Click Edit.
   
   
   
   
4. Click the Access tab.
5. In the Roles sub-tab, select Sovos from the Role dropdown menu on an empty row.
6. Click Save.
   
   
   
   

   If you have multiple roles in NetSuite, you’ll need to switch from your current role to the Sovos role from the dropdown in the Your Account section.
