You can assign a due date to each workflow stage in Sovos Filing and designate a person from your team to be notified about the due dates to make sure filing deadlines are met. To set up due dates and assign team members, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > Workflow.
- Click the arrow on the stage you want to set a due date and assignee for.
- Select the default assignee from the dropdown menu, then enter how many days before filing you want this stage to be finished.
You can't select a default assignee for the Complete stage.
- When you're finished making changes, click Save.
