Hold data
Manual Hold
- Go to Returns and click on the return you want to edit.
- In the Return Data tab, select the returns you want to put on hold, then click the Place On Hold icon.
- Enter the reason for holding and click Hold.
Hold Transactions with Guidance
- Go to Returns and click on the return you want to edit.
- In the Return Data tab, click Smart Hold & Release. All relevant transactions will automatically be placed on hold.
Release data
When you have data on hold, there will be an exclamation mark on the Data On Hold tab.
Manual Hold
- Open the return and go to the Data On Hold tab.
- Select the data you want to release, then click the Release Data icon. The selected data will be moved back to the return.
Hold Transactions with Guidance
- Open the return and go to the Data On Hold tab.
- Click Smart Hold & Release. This will move all data that won’t cause a negative total amount back to the return.
Export data on hold
- Go to Returns and click on the return that has data on hold you want to export.
- Click the Download icon, then select Export Data On Hold.
- You’ll see the following status message:
- Once the CSV file is ready, it will be downloaded to your computer.
