How to map a custom CSV file's fields to CertManager fields

You can download and fill out a template file provided by CertManager to add multiple customers or convert multiple certificates to exemptions at once. If you want to use a CSV from your own ERP or CRM system instead, you can do that by mapping the fields in your CSV file to the fields used in CertManager.

  1. Go to Settings > Custom Mappings, and click Add.

  2. Drag and drop your file in or click Browse to upload it.

  3. When your file has been uploaded, click Next.

  4. From the dropdown, select if the template will be for customer or exemption bulk uploads, then click Next.

  5. Create the mapping. The fields on the left are the column headers in CertManager and the fields on the right are the column headers in the uploaded CSV. Drag the fields on the right to match up with the fields on the left. The red fields are mandatory. When you are done, click Save.

Click Reset Mapping to clear the dragged column headers and start mapping again.

  6. You'll see the new mapping added on the Custom Mapper page.
