How to send emails to customers in CertManager

Using a template

  1. Go to the Email page, then click New.



  2. Click Select Template and choose a template.





  3. The other fields will be filled in based on the template you chose. You can edit any of the fields if needed. Once you've finished, click Next.



  4. Select the customers you want to send the email to. Once you've finished, click Next.
    • To manually select customers, click the box next to each Customer Name in the list, then click the plus (+) icon to add the selected customers to the Recipients list. You can filter out certain customers by clicking the Filters button. If you selected a Sovos template, the list of customers will be automatically filtered based on the template's criteria.



    • To upload a list of customers, click Upload, then select the CSV file that contains the Customer Numbers. The maximum number of customers you can upload this way is 1000.



    If you have multiple pages of customers, selecting all will select all the customers on the current page only.

  5. To test the email before you send it, click Test and enter the email address(es) for the test email, then click Send.

  6. If the email looks good, click Send.



  7. You'll see a message that the email was sent to the queue. The email will appear in the Email page with the date and time it was sent, the template used, the subject line, and the number of recipients.





From scratch

  1. Go to the Email page, then click New.



  2. Follow steps 3-7 in How to create, edit, and delete email templates in CertManager to fill in the fields, then click Next.
  3. Follow steps 4-6 in the previous section to test and send the email.
