To view the Entity/Use tax rules for an organization, follow these steps:
- Log in to Global Tax Determination and click Manage.
- Go to Entity/Use > View/Edit Entity/Use Tax Rules. The name of your organization will appear under the header.
- Select the Entity/Use code whose rules you want to view in the left panel. You can use the search functions in the dropdown menu to filter the codes:
- All shows all Entity/Use codes in alphabetical order.
- All Custom shows all custom Entity/Use codes for your organization.
- Name is lets you search for a code by name. Type the name or part of the name in the empty field, then click Go. The panel will show all code names that contain the letters that you entered.
- Description is lets you search for a code by its description. Type the description or part of the description in the empty field, then click Go. The panel will show all codes with descriptions that contain the letters you entered.
- Select the taxing jurisdiction you want to see the tax rules displayed for. Only the country is mandatory but you can narrow the search down to the state or lower taxing jurisdiction levels as well. Click Show.
- The table will show all rules for the selected Entity/Use code and taxing jurisdiction(s).
