How to map your product codes to Good/Service codes (Legacy GTD Cloud)

To map your company's product codes to Global Tax Determination's Good/Service codes, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Global Tax Determination and click Manage.
  2. Go to Good/Service > Map/Edit Good/Service.
  3. Select your Good/Service code category from the dropdown menu on the left, then select the Good/Service code on the main screen. Click Map Now.

  4. Enter your company's product code in Step 2. You can provide one code or a range of codes. You can also add a product code description. Click Save.

    Make sure all your product codes have the same number of characters as your longest product code. For example, if your product codes range from D2 to D234, always use the 4-character form even in the case of product codes that are made up of fewer than 4 characters:

    D234 → D234
    D23 → 0D23
    D2 → 00D2

  5. You'll know that the mapping was successful if you see the Successfully saved Mapping message on the screen.
  6. If you want to map more product codes to this Good/Service code, repeat step 5.
