You need to deploy the Sovos Legacy Configuration Pass Encrypt script to encrypt the password used in API access between Sovos and the NetSuite Legacy Tax Adapter for GTD.
To deploy the script, follow these steps:
- Go to Customization > Scripting > Scripts.
- Click View on the Sovos Legacy Configuration Pass Encrypt record.
- In the Deployments subtab, click Sovos Legacy Configuration.
- If the Sovos Legacy Configuration record doesn't exist, click Deploy Script to create the record.
- Fill in the following information:
- Applies To: Sovos Legacy Configuration
- ID: _svs_ues2_encrypt_config (NetSuite will add customdeploy to the beginning of the ID)
- Deployed: Select this option
- Status: Select Released
- Log Level: Select Debug
- Execute as Role: Select Administrator
- In the Audience tab, select the following options:
- Roles: Select All
- Subsidiaries: Select all subsidiaries that you will use the adapter for
- Employees: Select All
- Click Save.
After you've set the password in the Sovos Configuration Record, you'll need to come back to this script and click Execution Log to note the cipherout.iv value.
